CAMBODIA

We partner with several different ministries in Cambodia that rescue women and children from human trafficking.
Hard Places Community, Daughters of Cambodia, and Agape International Ministries, Grace and Peace Gals, are a few of the wonderful groups we are able to help. This next year we hope to take a construction team to help Kam-Air Wake Park. This is a new endeavor to reach the youth of that country. We take teams to teach self-defense, guitar lessons, and minister to children. There is always a need for short-term interns who are willing to invest their lives to save the precious lives of those caught in the trap of human trafficking. I also spend my time in Cambodia encouraging these heroes of the faith, as they are involved in some of the darkest areas of sin and depravity.

CHINA

I have made two trips to China to visit families who serve there. These families reach into some of the most difficult places. It was a joy to spend time with them and encourage them in the Lord.

COSTA RICA

We continue to help the
Hidden Treasures Home. Ronald is helping to lead teams, facilitate logistics and raise finances for this project. Enrique and Charlyn Mejia have given their lives to helping the children of Costa Rica. They have adopted five children, have two of their own and usually have other children living with them as foster kids. We hope to help them build a barn and a garden this next year.

We also partner with Pastors Hugo and Carlos Zelaya. They lead a network of churches across Costa Rica.

We are taking several teams to help build church buildings and pastor’s homes this next year.

This is a picture of the children listening to the team from Evangel Assembly. The school is called Liverpool School in Limon, Costa Rica.  There were children everywhere, but the team did a great job. They taught soccer skills and cheerleading. The Gospel was presented and all the teachers were thrilled that the team came. Limon is on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. It is extremely hot. Very few mission groups go to this area. In this part of Costa Rica, we have worked with Pastor Luis Davis for many years.

CUBA

This is a new opportunity for us. I went to Cuba in September 2015 to help train pastors that are part of the Methodist denomination. I returned in February 2016. These are people who have stayed strong through many adversities. Another trip is planned for September 2016.

This is Pastor Dwayne Higgason and I in front of a Fort in Cuba. I mention his name quite a bit in my newsletters, because he is always doing something with me. We have traveled around the world together. He is the pastor of Grace Temple in Hattiesburg, MS and a man who believes in leading his church in missions. He does not just send them, he leads them. I have seen him work till he gives completely out, then stand up to preach that night. The Bible teaches us about friends that stick closer than a brother. Dwayne is that to me. I am blessed to call him my friend. I would suggest other pastors follow his example and start leading your church into missions. I know he would be willing to have a conversation with you if you are interested in stretching your congregation and seeing them fulfill the Great Commission.

DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO

Our missionaries Dean and Autumn Jordon spent many years building a ministry in this desolate place. There are no roads that come to this place. You have to fly in on an airplane. There is no electricity. Dean has continued to teach these pastors and also teach them a Theology of Work. He works with Pierre and Bea Ngule. These couples are making a difference in a most difficult place.

This picture is of more than 500 pastors who walked for days in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to come to this conference. They sat for three days on boards sitting on concrete blocks. It was hot and there were lot of bugs. The roof is just leaves. They were so hungry for the Word.

GUATEMALA

Mary Purvis is the daughter of a missionary and now serves in Rabinal, Guatemala. She feeds over 125 children and elderly a meal a day, five days a week. She also touches many lives in Rio Negro, which is a very needy area. You can help sponsor a child for $25 a month by specifying when you make a donation.  Mary is looking for someone who can help her as an administrator for the feeding program.

Ronald also works with Paul Watkins. Paul lives in the states, but travels frequently to Guatemala and touches many pastors.

Ain't Life Grand Investments has been on a couple of missions trips with us. ALG joined us again in June 2016 with 25 employees and 1 customer on a mission trip to Santa Catarina, Palopo, Guatemala. They helped us at a local church lay the foundation for future classrooms. This was all made possible by their nonprofit group, Making Life Grand. A portion of every hamburger and gyro from sold at their 20 locations goes back into their communities and also funds global missions. Their motto: While you Eat Good, we Give Back.

INDIA

I believe that one of the areas that the Lord has called me to, is training leaders. I want to go back to India and see what the Lord is doing among these servants of the Kingdom. We can impart revelation to these teachers and they will teach others. Pray for the nations. Pray for pastors and leaders, who put their lives on the line every day. Pray that the Lord will meet their needs and give them courage to fulfill their calling.

This is a favorite photo of mine. I was in Ongole, India. I spent several days teaching pastors, then had the opportunity to pray for them. They were so humble and hungry.

KENYA

We have graduated over 1,900 leaders from our school. I try to make at least one trip a year to speak to alumni and leaders. You can sponsor a student for $50 a month or $600 a year by specifying when you make a
donation. It is a great investment.

This year we are taking men to teach welding to pastors. These pastors live on less than a dollar a day. With a skill like welding, they can begin to take care of their families and be a greater influence in their community.

MEXICO

We helped launch a school of ministry in Chenalo, Mexico. Working with Russell and Charlotte Linscombe,

Steve Rannells took our materials from Kenya, that we had translated into Spanish, and started a school to help train pastors. These pastors have suffered much persecution over the years, but continue to make a difference in the lives of many people. Our first graduation class was in March, 2015. He and his wife Luz, are wonderful pastors and worship leaders. We help teach their leaders.

POLAND

The Lord has allowed Ronald and teams to visit Poland for the last 12 years. We have been able to teach many business leaders Kingdom principles. We have had many divine appointments and have seen the fruit of teaching the Word of God consistently through the years.

THAILAND

One of my favorite stories is while in Thailand in 1984, I was supposed to go speak at a church in a very remote area. My translator and I traveled for many hours. We arrived at a building with many Monks in orange clothing. My translator said that there were no hotels in the area and I would be staying at the monastery. There was no bed, just a mat. No one spoke English. The bathroom was down the hall and was minimal at best. Then my translator just said he had to go and left me. I got very little sleep, never ate, and could not believe that I was in such a place. The next morning, my translator came and got me, took me to the church where I spoke. God touched many lives. We traveled back to Bangkok to share at more churches the next week. Just the day in the life of a traveling missionary.
