Dear Friends,
I love this time of year. It is beautiful in Lower Alabama today. What a great time to live. God is moving. Are you moving? Some people have not moved in so long, they have gathered moss. I want to be a living stone, moving for the Kingdom of God. The scripture tells us in Matthew 6:33 to “Seek first the Kingdom of God”. It seems that we seek everything else and then His Kingdom. First means first! It is a priority. I urge you today to begin seeking God. Seek His face. David said in Psalm 42 that he panted after God, like the deer panted after the water. I desire a fresh encounter with God. I don’t want to live on my yesterdays. I have had some pretty good yesterdays. God has allowed me to touch a lot of people, but I want something new from God today. Spend some time in His presence today. Put His ways first in your life. Ask Him what He wants you to do. Don’t tell Him what you want to do. Then when He tells you, obey Him. Trust Him with your life.
We have had some wonderful meetings these past few weeks. God met us at Destiny Outreach Ministries in Tazewell, VA. Then we had a great time at Faith Family Church in North Augusta, SC. Rick and Rebecca Porterfield are the pastors. They were part of the church where I was pastor many years ago. They started teaching a class on marriage for us. God has continued to use them and now they do marriage counseling and have written a book, titled, “Marriage by the Book”. It is very good and would help you. You can order one through their web site at www.YourFaithFamily.com. I believe it would be a great investment. They travel to the Czech Republic next week to teach and minister. This past Sunday was a blessing as I shared here at home with Pastor Gary Browning at Faith Covenant Church. I appreciate our spiritual family.
I leave on Monday, Nov. 9 for Kitale, Kenya. I am leading 8 other men to finish the construction of the LeRoy Curtis Training Center. We will be installing doors, windows and building and office. Pray for us as we travel. I, along with Dwayne Higgason, and Bill Watts will be teaching a conference to the graduates of Kenya Ministry Training Institute. I believe God will help us to impact their lives. I asked for $900 in my last newsletter to help feed the pastors at this conference and over $600 has come in. God has always met our needs. I will return on Nov. 25. It is a long trip and I miss my family, but I believe it is what God has called me to.

Thank you for your prayers and standing with us during these days. I intend to be home most of December after being gone November to Africa. Take time this month to give thanks for those you love and for those who have touched your life in a special way.
