November Update

Dear Friends,
Some of you caught the mistake last month. I inadvertently sent out the October Update with the title September Update. Oh well. That’s what you get when you live in constant jet lag.
I pray this note finds you doing well. The elections are over. I pray we will keep praying and believing for God to reveal himself in these days. The good news today is that God is building His Church. I personally believe that we are in for some difficult times in the world’s system, but we will see God do great things in many lives. Look for opportunities to be used of God.
This weekend is the Enter to Worship – Exit to Serve Book Release Event here in Daphne. If you live in this area, I hope you will come. Details are on my web site. Thanks to Gary Browning and the congregation of Faithe Covenant church for helping to make this happen. We will be videoing the entire six sessions an making them available in a few weeks. You can check on that also on the web site. Cd’s will also be available. The book can be purchased now for $9.99 plus $2.50 for shipping and handling. Let me know if you would like to purchase some for you or for gifts.
I leave for Kenya, Africa on Monday, Nov. 10. Nine people from Grace Temple, Hattiesburg, MS will be going, a friend from Dallas, TX and myself. We intend to build a new dormitory for men and women and new bathrooms. We intend to name this the “Mama Beverly Mission Team House”. Please keep us in your prayers. Travel is difficult today with security. It takes two 9 hour flights and a six hour car ride to get to Kitale. That doesn’t count layovers. We are still trying to raise about $3500 for the construction supplies. I will also be making a stop in another African country to visit friends. Please pray for this time.
There have been many events going on in the world these past several months. The economy is taking a hit. I am thankful for my faithful supporters. If you would like to help us reach the nations, please go to my web site. You can give there or make arrangement to send by regular mail. We need for others to step up to help us share the Kingdom of God around the world.
My Upcoming Schedule:
November 10-27: Kenya, Africa
December 7: Eagles Way Church, Griffin, GA
December 14-17: First Assembly of God, Front Royal, VA
January 4-5, 2009: Bethel Assembly of God, Tampa, FL
January 18: First Assembly of God, Tuscaloosa, AL
This is a month we celebrate Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my wife, Sharon who has been a blessing to me in so many ways. I am thankful for my family and for the wonderful friends I have made through these years. I am especially thankful for my Father in heaven who has poured so much into my life. Look for opportunities to thank your family and friends during this season.
Reaching Nations, Changing Lives,
Ronald
