May Update 2010
Dear Friends,
The Lord is Great and Greatly to be praised!
The last month has been extremely busy. I traveled extensively across the Southeast. I ministered the Word at several church and also took part in a conference. I also have the joy to serve on the board of International Outreach Ministries. It is exciting to hear of all that God is doing in the world. We are a small group, but having impact in so many areas. We have missionaries rescuing children from becoming sex slaves in Cambodia, reaching prostitutes in China, and bridging cultural chasms with Muslims. What a difference a life that is dedicated to God makes in people. The men I serve with are committed to taking the Gospel to the Whole World in every way we can.
Our missionary in Kenya, Larry Neese, is in a great need of a new vehicle. He is driving a 1993 Montero that he has nursed and repaired all he can. We need to raise about $35,000 for another vehicle. Kenya has a 100% tax on vehicles, so a $15,000 car costs $30,000. The roads are terrible and create difficulties. He needs something he can depend on. God has provided a $10,000 matching grant. We need to raise $10,000 to get $10,000. Would you consider helping in this project? I go to Kenya every year. Larry is making a difference in so many lives through Kenya Ministry Training Institute and our new work in Uganda. You can give through the web site or send a check. I will pass on all the monies given for this.
I leave for Paris, France on Wednesday, May 5. I will attend a conference and also share in a business seminar. Gordon Green from Canada is joining me for this trip. We also plan to go now to Brussels, Belgium and then to Torun, Poland. God continues to open up doors for us to share the Kingdom of God through business. We are planning several seminars in the United States for this fall. I asked for $2000 in my last newsletter and have received about $1200. If you could help with this, I would appreciate it. Please keep these times in your prayers. I received several words recently that because of the terrible plane crash in Poland that killed the president and many government officials, that this would be a strategic time for our trip.
My schedule:
May 5-18: Paris, France; Brussels Belgium; Torun, Poland
May 21-23: Emmanuel Christian Assembly, Barberton, Ohio
June 13: Faith Covenant Church, Daphne, AL
June 19-20: Brighton Church, Houston, TX
June 26-27: Christ the King Church, St. Louis, MO
July 12-27: Two teams to Guatemala
August 15: Abundant Life Church, Nashville, TN
Thanks for standing with us. I am amazed at the blessings of the Lord. Our friends have stood with us through the years. I am grateful.
Reaching Nations, Changing Lives,
Ronald
