God has opened many doors for us to minister in many places both in the United States and around the world. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you as you serve in the Kingdom of God.
I am glad that you have stopped by. We believe that this is a great opportunity for people to join with us in reaching the world for Jesus Christ. You will find many things here for you to be a part of. Please contact us if you want more information.ezwebscape
Hidden Treasures: Costa Rica
A primary project for me is the Hidden Treasures Home. I am helping to lead teams, facilitate logistics and raise finances for this project.
This is a power point presentation for you to view or use at your church, home meeting, school or anywhere else you believe might be interested in helping. Enrique and Charlyn Mejia have given their lives to helping the children of Costa Rica. They have adopted five children, have two of their own and usually have other children living with them as foster kids.
The plan is to build this main house and then five other homes with house parents with a capacity of up to 50 children on the property. Costa Rica is experiencing sex slavery, just like other countries, and needs someone to rescue the children. You can make a difference. Please consider going or giving.
There are always opportuntites for mission ministry. These are some I am presently working on. If you feel that God speaks to you about being a part of something around the world, I can help facilitate your involvement. With over 125 missionaries in 17 countries, we can find a place for you to go short term or several months. Please feel free to contact me and talk about the possibilites.
Costa Rica Hidden Treasures Project: A lot of work was accomplished this last year. We are now working on building the first of five homes that will house 6 to 10 children in each house. Please let me know if you can help.
Kenya: This year our goal is to start building a new girls dorm for Challenge Farm. There are 130 orphans who live there. Cheri Thompson Neese is the director. We plan to take a team in February 2014 to help with this project. I need to raise $25,000 for this project.
Guatemala: Funds for a feeding program that feeds at least 100 every day. You can sponsor one person for $25 a month. We need to buy 50 chairs at $6.00 each. A building needs to be built at the feeding center. The cost is $11,500. $5,000 has already been raised. We also are praying about someone moving to Guatemala to help with Administration of the center. Another need is for a team to finish a youth center. The cost is $3500 for the materials.
Cambodia: We have a number of missionaries who rescue women and children from human trafficking. There are always needs of money, and short term interns who are willing to invest their lives to save these precious lives. It is not easy, but it is a blessing. I recently spent time with our team and was able to encourage them.
We held an Opportunity, Inc. Kingdom Business Seminar March 15-16 in Phomn Penh. We partnered with Global Advance from Dallas, TX to speak to business leaders for these two days on the principle that " The Whole earth belongs to the Lord". We plan to return in March 2014.
Vietnam: Our time in Vietnam was exciting. Over 500 pastors that influence over 200,000 people in Vietnam spent four days hearing the Word of the Lord. We were able to sponsor over 30 pastors from the North to share in this event. What an honor to minister to these servants of God who touch the persecuted church. We will travel to North and South Vietnam in March 2014 to speak to pastors.
Mexico: We have recently launched a school of ministry similar to what we do in Kenya, in the state of Chiapas. We are working with Russell and Charlotte Linscombe from Mexico Outreach. They have served in Mexico for over 25 years. The first class will graduate in March 2015.
